Kindness ambassadors

Get involved on the front lines.

Kindness Ambassadors are amazing, all-around rockstars who guide the future of our organization.

As a Kindness Ambassador, you’ll join a community of more than 1,000 individuals passionate about our what we’re doing and helping us further our mission of spreading limitless love into the lives of our elders.

You’ll serve as an advisor to our organization, contributing to our virtual meetings on Zoom. We brainstorm, set goals, oversee our programs and revise what is and isn’t working.

The best part? We leave the reins to you. We’re open to any suggestions or ideas you have, and if there’s something that hasn’t been done before, we’ll almost always say, go for it!

In the past, Kindness Ambassadors have:

  • Connected us with senior facilities

  • Distributed Letters of Love and Sunshine Bags at local senior communities

  • Hosted card-making workshops at cafés and libraries

  • Written content for our website and blog

  • Organized pen-pal groups in nursing homes

  • Produced content for our social media pages

  • Fundraised at schools, community events, and online

  • Given speeches to raise awareness for our cause

  • Served as a face for our organization, being interviewed on major news platforms like Reader’s Digest, Next Avenue and Redé Record to share their service and talk about what we do

As a Kindness Ambassador…

You’ll be the first to know about secret projects and what’s happening behind the scenes. If you’re interested in having a leadership role in Love For Our Elders, this is the place to start!

"I enjoy encouraging and helping students at my son Julian's school, Explore Knowledge Academy, write letters to (our elders). Each time I help a student write a letter, I feel closer to my own grandmother, Grandma Thelma, who spent the last few years of her life lonely in a nursing home. I hope that the work I am doing here teaches children the value of being kind to (our elders)."
